Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary
Responsible for website design, development, and maintenance and content, project, and site management. Collaborate with a team that includes creative, marketing, events, data analysis and communication to develop fully functioning websites through design plans, analytics, creative collateral, and verbal direction. Develop email marketing strategy to communicate sales, promotions, and advertising to target markets. Create, plan, and implement an engaging and interactive social media content strategy that enhances the reputation of the department. Engage in daily activity on social media channels to advance the brand and promote events/programs.

Responsibilities
1. Create, develop, expand and redesign websites and manage content (requires working with web design and content management software)

2. Develop email marketing campaigns using Constant Contact or similar software

3. Write dynamic, high-impact copy that delivers marketing outcomes

4. Generate content for campaign messaging, collateral, calls to action (CTA), landing pages, website content, emails, marketing content, newsletters, social media, etc.

5. Monitor industry trends, technologies, and standards and research, recommend, and apply new technologies and analytics as necessary

6. Plan and manage project communications, continuously monitoring project status, proactively managing changes, and communicating on a regular basis

7. Ensure evaluation and analysis of marketing content initiatives to determine effectiveness of implemented strategies and recommend adjustments needed

8. Utilize analytic tools and resources to analyze web performance, report Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and provide insights and recommendations for content performance improvement

9. Analyze website Search Engine Optimization (SEO) utilizing analytic tools and resources, provide insights and make recommendations for updates and optimization and write content to meet SEO, web goals, and objectives

10. Optimize pages within each platform to increase visibility of University's social content

11. Create and follow an editorial calendar

12. Generate, edit, publish and share content (original text, images, video or HTML) that encourages community engagement with the University

13. Monitor conversations and respond to user generated comments and questions posted on accounts

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Responsible for website management; SEO work. Web site planning, design and writing, and updates maintenance for assigned college

2. Responsible for developing and maintaining the social media communication plan

3. Generates traffic and metric reports

4. Provides support for other content creators in the college

5. Works with the Manager to design a digital presence

6. Collaborate and support the college communication and marketing plan

7. Provides video production work or oversight to support web and social media video clip content

Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in related field

Required Experience
Two (2) years of relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications

Experience in video storytelling from concept and shooting to editing

Experience in marketing, communications or public relations in a university or school setting Digital marketing content experience

Experience with Google Analytics Intermediate and SEO BrightEdge

Experience with HTML and scripting compatibility issues between different browsers

Bachelor's degree in Communication, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Media or related field preferred

Experience with Microsoft and Adobe Creative Campus products (including Adobe Premiere)

Portfolio samples of digital experience (web and social media work samples)

Strong research skills to familiarize oneself with educational programs and initiatives
