Position HighlightsThe College of Humanities (COH) is seeking a self-motivated, task-driven, and analytical individual for the role of IT Support Analyst within the COH-IT team. The ideal applicant will have strong communication skills to build and maintain relationships with COH faculty, staff, and instructors.
This position provides IT solutions using campus, third party and internally provisioned services and provides support in troubleshooting technological or security issues. The IT Analyst will assist in data entry/configuration, auditing, and reporting of IT services, repetitious testing of IT configurations to ensure consistency and providing on-site support at COH events and functions.
This position also requires dedication to being the 'closer' on large scale IT projects within the college, requiring a high level of detail and documentation.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Opening the office promptly at 7:30am each morning
- Receive, investigate, and resolve all trouble reports
and full range of user complaints concerning IT Services
- Provide solutions to faculty and staff using IT
Services offered on campus/college and recommend the most appropriate and
secure method to resolve reported issue
- Update content and configuration for internal IT
service offerings including websites, data, access security lists, campus
group lists, etc.
- Deploy and support IT and AV equipment to end users for
business use. Including installation of equipment in faculty and staff
- Deploy and support IT and AV equipment at COH events
and functions. This includes annual faculty recruitment, Humanities Tech
events, COH Commencement, etc.
- Coordinate the physical and perpetual inventory of COH
IT services equipment
- Transport equipment or personnel using the COH golf cart
- Additional duties may be assigned
Knowledge, Skills &
- Demonstrated skill in English composition, grammar,
spelling and punctuation (written and verbal)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning
attained through experience required
- 1 year of IT troubleshooting and support experiences
- Must be able to lift items over 50 pounds for
deployment and installation of IT/AV equipment
- Valid Driver's License and ability to drive according to the University Fleet Safety Policy.
- Experience with Active Directory and/or JAMF (or any comparable technologies)
- Experience working in an institution of higher education
