Loyola University Maryland is seeking a Lead Environmental Services Supervisor for the night shift. This position will supervisor two Environmental Services Supervisors, who each have their own team of approximately 15 EVS Technicians.

The Lead EVS Supervisor will:
Schedules, assigns and coordinates work assignments for all areas of responsibility during the evening shift. Provides a written daily account of activities completed during the evening shift.

Review the plans, schedules and assignments of supervisors to ensure all aspects of work are anticipated. Ensures timely and effective communication with Residential Life and Events staff on the status of room/apartment cleaning. Inspects and follow-ups on the readiness of needed spaces with supervisors to ensure they are prepared and to standard.

Performs routine maintenance inspections. Identifies and documents deficiencies, unsafe conditions and follows up on progress. Coaches and counsels employees; ensures fair and equitable disciplinary action

- 5 to 8 years of Environmental Service experience, with at least 5 at a supervisory level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Technical knowledge of commercial cleaning including floor care experience.
- The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multi task.

- Proficient with email, word, excel and Maintenance Management Information Systems.
- Proven experience in supervising Environmental Services staffs of 15+ employees.
- Proven excellence in customer service.
- Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision making skills and ability to know when to escalate.
- Self motivated to accomplish goals with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Essential Personnel position must be able to respond to emergencies.
- Must be able to pass the University driver's clearance process and be able to drive a University vehicle.
- Ability to support the mission and values of a Catholic Jesuit education, as well as University goals for institutional diversity.
