Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a part-time faculty position as Artist-in-Residence in Double Bass in the Bailey School of Music. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience beginning August 9, 2021.

Responsibilities
Teaching Double Bass applied lessons with 1:1 musical instruction in undergraduate training. The School of Music is interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through teaching, performing, and mentoring.

Required Qualifications
  • An earned M.M. Master's degree in Music, or the foreign equivalent is required.
  • A record of excellence in teaching applied music with expertise ranging from beginning through advanced level pedagogy.
Preferred Qualifications
Performance skills commensurate with appropriate professional organizations.
