Job Summary/Basic Function:
Position will report to the Director of Student Affairs Technology and coordinate the Student Affairs Technology Student Computer labs and the academic technologies supporting digital fluency mission for WSU students, staff and faculty. Responsible for the planning and initiating Student Affairs Technology's yearly and long-term goals and initiatives to closely tie together the department with the overall mission of Student Affairs and the University.
Areas of direct responsibility include:
- Computer lab coordination
- Financial planning for equipment and staffing
- Collaborate with University faculty and staff for internships, volunteer opportunities and teaching classrooms
- University event planning for Student Affairs Technology
- Staff and student employee training and professional growth
- Supervise one non-exempt staff and 50+ student employees
- Coordinate with the office of the Associate Provost for High-Impact Programs & Faculty Development supporting digital fluency.
- Ensures quality customer service, technical support and training.
- Establish standardized policies and procedures at both department and division level.
- Bachelor degree.
- 2 years full-time experience in job related field.
- 1 year experience supervisory and training development
Experience in curriculum development and training. Familiarity and commitment to the Student Affairs division mission including a dedication to increasing and embracing diversity. Demonstrated student professional development planning and engagement practices. Supervisory and budget management experience is required. Event planning, marketing and development. Demonstrated leadership, staff management and collaboration skills. Understanding of computer software and hardware management for all OS platforms for both mobile and desktop systems. Ability to plan and provide training and instruction to small and large groups. Experience in working with a variety of diverse groups. Ability to work under deadlines and possible high stress environments. Understanding and experience working with sensitive information (FERPA). Ability to manage and resolve conflict. Goal oriented and ability to research in job related fields for purposes of always improving services. Experience working in higher education.

The annual salary for this position starts at $50,000 and may go up from there depending on candidate qualifications. The position comes with a generous benefits package.
