Job Description

The successful candidate will provide office support for the faculty and staff in the Finance Department. The candidate will perform many support, research and reporting functions for the unit. Duties include: receptionist, special projects that include internet searches as well as excel spreadsheet reports; document preparation while learning university policies and procedures; departmental website review,and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Some administrative or program support experience in a professional environment; demonstrated experience drafting business documents and or correspondence with strong editing, composing and proofreading skills; demonstrated proficiency with current office computer software including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and general office software skills; knowledge of general office practices and procedures; ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; ability to work with minimal supervision; strong organizational skills; and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate degree with experience and knowledge of multiple technology packages as well as experience maintaining webbased information.
