Position HighlightsThe Postdoctoral Associate will support a project focused on increasing pandemic resiliency on campus, through the development of basic and flexible models for air, water, and surface transmitted pathogens in dorm rooms, classrooms, and offices. The position will contribute a computational fluid dynamic modeling component to the engineering and public health team currently applying an agent based model approach to health protection.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Work with the research team to improve the campus pandemic resiliency. This will include building a computational fluid dynamic model to account for air-surface pathogen transmission and allow for particle/pathogen tracing and deposition on surfaces under different room layouts.
- Advance the research through the development of extramural funding opportunity proposals.
- Ph.D. by the time of hire, in related field.
