Position Information
Applications are currently being accepted for a full-time, non-tenure-track, nine-month faculty position in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering Technology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and qualifications. 

Research, teaching, advising, and service Contribution to diversity and equity. Demonstrate the potential for achievement in research and teaching, including plans for further growth.

Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in a relevant degree area, e.g. Computer Science or Engineering from a regionally accredited institution. Note: Individuals with degrees outside of the US may be subject to verification at the expense of the candidate. A successful recent experience that demonstrates excellence in teaching, scholarly activity, and service that meets ABET accreditation standards. Teaching, scholarship, and service profile must be commensurate with a non-tenure-track appointment at the rank of lecturer. 

Preferred Qualifications
Priority will be given to applicants who specialize in data science, cybersecurity, or human-computer interface. Applicants whose expertise will expand the education and research opportunities the department currently offers for students and be complementary to areas of specialization of existing faculty in the department. Applicants with demonstrated inter-culture competence with diverse groups in teaching, research, and/or service.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
