Dean, Faculty, and Student Support Specialist
This position exists to support not only the academic units of the college but the Dean and Associate Dean as well; to serve as the Dean's liaison to the College, the University, and to students and patrons; to carry out initiatives and responsibilities associated with the operations of the college; and to assist with the administration of the College, including student employee training and supervision across units, and onboarding of graduate assistants and teaching assistants. This position will serve as the first contact for students and patrons entering the Dean's Office and will provide exceptional customer service to both the campus community and visitors.
- Bachelor's degree
- Five years of experience in university level programs
- Understanding and/or experience of general clerical and administrative duties, computer technology and software knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $45,384. Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.
