Job Description

Provides coordination, administrative, and logistical support for project development and implementation. Supports individual CECE faculty under the supervision of the Associate Director and collaboratively with the Finance Coordinator. Also supports the unit-wide business meeting, Vibrant Virginia program, and administrative impact evaluation activities. Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in business, communications, planning, public administration, economics or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, time management and organization skills.
  • Project/program management experience that demonstrates initiative, creativity, organization and attention to detail.
  • Strong computing skills and proficiency in basic office applications (Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel and Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, communications, planning, public administration, economics or a related field.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Competency using various communication technologies such as Zoom
  • Possess experience with university/research administration.
  • Problem solving skills and experiences.

Commensurate with experience, up to budget maximum of $42,000

The successful candidate will be required to have a criminal conviction check as well as documentation ofCOVID-19 vaccinationor receive approval from the university for a vaccination exemption due to a medical condition or sincerely held religious belief.
