DEPARTMENT: Admissions

REPORTS TO: Director of Enrollment Operations

Nichols College seeks a skilled, high-energy administrator to play a critical role in admission operations. This position will assist with overseeing operations for the enrollment team including supporting the day-to-day administration and management of our CRM (Slate), ensuring data integrity, overseeing administrative and office functions, and other special projects as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with a CRM system, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, an aptitude for developing effective processes, and the ability to work with multiple constituencies within the enrollment process. Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and track multiple tasks is also required.

  • Maintain knowledge of the college's tools, systems, and lead generation partnerships, including Slate Technolutions, Ellucian Colleague, Hobsons, Common Application, College Board, and others. Learn new systems and tools as needed.
  • Research, help implement, document and test CRM system features and applications
  • Support the day-to-day administration and management of the Slate CRM platform for undergraduate admissions including system integrity, system issues, and problem-solving.
  • Provides overall administrative support for the Directors of Undergraduate Admissions as directed.
  • Responsible for Admissions new employee onboarding.
  • Manage the orders of undergraduate admissions marketing materials and office supplies that support the undergraduate admissions office.
  • Assist in the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of applications.
  • Cover the front desk of the Welcome Center by answering the main admissions phone line, welcoming visitors, and supporting the overall prospective student visit experience when needed.

* Assists with the preparation and ongoing maintenance of Admissions related projects

* Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or experience working in a higher education environment
  • 2 or more years of work experience in higher education or similar setting
  • Willingness to undertake new projects, and be a team player
  • Availability to work nights as needed and attendance required to work weekend events 4-6 times per year
  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to interact with a diverse population ranging from students across all of our programs
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple deadlines and projects
  • Willingness to undertake new projects, work with minimal supervision and be a team player; flexibility is key
  • Experience with CRM and applicant management system preferred (Slate would be a bonus)
