Position Details:
Project Success is a grant-funded 4-year program focused on developing a sense of belonging, leadership, career readiness, and information literacy. Project Success focuses on providing intensive support via case management academic advising, mentoring, and coordinated outreach with a goal of 4-year graduation and career placement.

The Community Support Specialist will coordinate outreach with the on- and off-campus resources to help students develop self-advocacy and problem solve as they progress to their degree.

The desired candidate will excel in the following:

  • Demonstrated ability to relate to and support a diverse student population (is a priority)
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases and projects at once. Including keeping detailed case notes and follow-up on referrals
  • The skills to collaborate, develop coalitions, and coordinate support with both on and off-campus entities
  • A team approach to student support
  • The aptitude to appropriately convey information in written and oral forms, including constructing and delivering reports and presentations, and one-on-one relatability


Required Education & Experience: A Master's in Social Work or related field is required; 1 to 2 years of experience is preferred
