Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Program Coordinator, International Students and Scholars. This is a 12-month position in the Center for Global Engagement, reporting to the Associate Director, International Students and Scholars.

The Program Coordinator, International Students and Scholars provides support for all aspects of the international students and scholars program. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Serve as Designated School Official for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program.
  • Update and maintain student records in SEVIS in strict adherence to Federal regulations.
  • Coordinate Host Family program.
  • Coordinate Meet the World in Knox County program.
  • Assist with all aspects of International Pre-Orientation.
  • Assist with all aspects of international student programs.
  • Provide assistance to Associate Director regarding academic and cultural adjustment for international students and scholars.
  • Coordinate regular digital media coverage, including CGE website and social media.
  • Assist with all CGE events.
  • Work with Interns to maintain consistent digital media coverage, including CGE website and social media.
  • Routine office duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident per SEVP requirements.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations.
  • Interest in cross-cultural issues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of constituents including students, parents, campus offices, program providers, faculty, and community partners. Experience working in a fast-paced team setting with multiple interruptions.
  • Experience working with Word Docs, slides, spreadsheets, and databases.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with F-1 SEVIS regulations

Evening and weekend hours required.
