Frostburg State University seeks applications for an exempt, full-time Associate Director for Career and Professional Development Center. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience; University System of Maryland benefits package includes annual leave, holidays, personal, and sick leave; tuition remission; health and life insurance, and retirement plans. Responsibilities: The Associate Director for Career and Professional Development Center offers individual career counseling and job search advising to students and alumni, develops and presents workshops, establishes positive relationships with students, employers, faculty, staff, and alumni. The Associate Director also provides assistance with web-based technologies, data collection, marketing and reporting.

  • Positive attitude and motivated/enthusiastic workstyle

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a business or career office setting.
  • Knowledge of and experience in career and/or employment planning and counseling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters or Professional degree.
  • Experience with career related platforms and software.
  • Experience working in a college or university setting.
