The Senior Director, Skidmore Fund leads and manages a strategic, comprehensive and metrics-driven annual giving program that reflects industry best practices and maximizes philanthropic giving from alumni and parents. This includes the achievement of annual budgeted fundraising goals, with the current expectation to increase funds raised annually (2020-21 results totaled $7.85 million including $2 million for the Annual Parents Fund). The Senior Director provides strategic oversight of all programs within the Fund and supervises a staff of ten full-time, setting expectations and providing leadership to them as they implement their own programs that help maximize fundraising results. The Senior Director oversees the marketing and messaging efforts. In addition, the Senior Director builds strong productive relationships with other development and college-wide staff and lead volunteers, engaging them in the process of making the strongest case possible for giving to Skidmore.


Bachelor's degree required and 10+ years of increasing, directly related or applicable experience.
