The position is responsible for providing technical support for the Yuan Laboratory at Virginia Tech. The individuals report directly to Dr. Lijuan Yuan. Duties will involve performing animal procedures in gnotobiotic pig facility and assist research projects in immunology and virology in BSL2 lab.
- Successful completion of a bachelor of science degree in Biology, Animal Science, Microbiology or related field. (or a combination of work experience and education)
- Current work permit in the US
- Prior experience working in a BLS2 lab.
- Experienced in immunology/virology assays
- Prior experience working with animals
