Full-Time Faculty Appointment in the Department of Business - Finance Position (Tenure Track)

Teach the equivalent of a full seven-course load per year. Courses to be taught will likely include; Investments; Capital Markets; Personal Finance and other finance and/or economics courses as needs arise. Engage in ongoing professional and/or scholarly development. Advise the Royals Investment Fund (Student Managed fund) as part of a full-time load to include executing trades. General faculty responsibilities will include undergraduate student academic advising, departmental responsibilities, student recruitment, and committee assignments.

Skills: Successful candidates are able to clearly communicate disciplinary knowledge, work collaboratively, think creatively, and utilize technology. 

Experience: Experience with portfolio management is required. Record of successful college teaching and/or mentoring experience preferred. Participation and evidence of ongoing professional and scholarly development are preferred in addition to experience in implementing innovative solutions.

Education: A master’s degree in business with an emphasis in finance is required; CFA charter, Ph.D. or DBA preferred.

Compensation: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
