Job Description

This position will provide assistance to faculty members, Associate Director, and Graduate and Undergraduate Programs Administrator; handle administrative aspects of faculty searches; manage logistics for events and meetings;and serve as a point of contact for the department, answering questions from students, staff, and faculty at BC, and from community members inquiring about the department's outreach activities. Manage time and prioritizes activities by recognizing and effectively balancing the differing needs of faculty and staff within the work unit.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $38,700 to $48,400; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

* One to two years of experience working in an office setting.

* Strong organizational and communications skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based, deadline-oriented environment.

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other specialized software

*This is a position that requires in-person work

* Functional understanding of university administrative systems and campus-wide technologies.

* Bachelor's degree preferred.
