Description of Work Unit

UC is a 24/7 unit that provides emergent inpatient and outpatient care, everything from minor lacerations to septic patients. Our staff works closely with the many small animal services at the VTH, clinicians & students in providing exceptional patient care and management for our patients.

Position Summary

The Urgent Care department at the VTH is looking for veterinary technician shift work coverage. We are hiring for 0-40 hrs/week (average 2-4 shifts/month). Hours are variable, with shifts in the morning, afternoons, and nights. This position will provide intermittent hourly coverage and support to the Urgent Care department as well as emergent shift coverage as needed by the unit.

Position Minimum Qualifications

1 year technical experience in an emergency and critical care facility

Technical certification preferred
