Job Summary:
The Donor Relations Coordinator is a member of the university's centralized development team. This position develops, implements and manages a university-wide donor stewardship program designed to foster and nurture long-term, meaningful relationships between the university and its donors.

Reporting to the Assistant Vice President for Development, the Donor Relations Coordinator operates in an integrated advancement environment where positional objectives align with divisional and university priorities. The position works daily with advancement staff in development, alumni relations, communication and marketing, annual giving and advancement services, and the UNC Foundation to ensure that philanthropic relationships, recognition and engagement activities are effectively managed in order to maximize support for UNC. In addition to advancement collaboration, the position frequently interacts with faculty and staff across the university.

This position must present and maintain professional standards of communication and behavior acceptable to and inclusive of the university's diverse alumni and donor community. Often, this position is the external representative of the development team and must respond to donors' inquiries and correspondence.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum of two years experience in development, stewardship, advancement services or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred experience in higher education and provide examples of ability to make data informed decisions.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $45,000-$50,000. Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.

Additional Requirements and Information:
Satisfactory completion of a background check, educational check, and authorization to work in the United States is required after a conditional offer of employment has been made. The successful candidate must submit original transcripts within one (1) month of hire.
