Position Overview:
The Department of Information Systems, Analytics and Supply Chain Management at Rider University seeks an adjunct instructor for the Spring 2022 semester beginning January 24, 2022. This position is to teach the following class:

  • CIS 270 (Computer Networking) OLO/OLR
  • CIS 270 K1 (MW 4:30pm-6:00pm)
CIS 270 Course Description:
This course provides an introduction to business data communications and networking. The Internet and OSI models are discussed. Network technologies include local area networks, backbone, wide area networks, and the Internet. Introduction to network design, security, and network management are also provided.

Position Requirements:
The successful candidate should possess a graduate-level degree (MS, MBA, MA) or higher (Ph.D. or DBA), preferably from an AACSB accredited institution in a relevant field, such as computer information systems, computer science, or operations.

Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
Previous experience teaching computer networking, computer information systems or computer database at either the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred. Professional work and activities in any of the related fields is preferred.
