The Cornell Canine Health Center (CHC) seeks a part-time (50%) veterinarian to serve as liaison between the Cornell Health Center (CHC) and the dog-owning public. Duties include:

This is a one-year, annually renewable position with responsibilities and commitment subject to change based on needs and resources. This position can be fulfilled remotely with occasional scheduled on-site presence.

The successful candidate will have a DVM (or equivalent) with up to 3 years' experience as a practicing veterinarian in a clinical small animal practice. The applicant should have a broad and current knowledge base related to canine health, including behavior and nutrition. Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex and medical concepts in compelling and engaging ways to a lay audience. In addition, they should have strong editing skills to guide and review the content of other writers. Preference will be given to individuals with a DVM and 5 yrs. advanced training and/or demonstrated proficiency in an area related to canine health.
