The Department of Mathematics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign seeks applicants to fill three positions of Instructor or Lecturer. These positions involve teaching a range of courses in the department.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach 3 mathematics courses per semester. These may include large service courses and/or small discussion sections.
Supervise TAs and graders for these courses.
Develop and maintain curriculum and stewardship material for these courses.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in Mathematics for Instructor.
Ph.D. in Mathematics for Lecturer.
College teaching experience.
Evidence of quality teaching.
Experience teaching large introductory service courses.
Experience with TA supervision.
Experience in course development.
The Instructor/Lecturer positions are full-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure track positions. For details on benefits please refer to https://www.hr.uillinois.edu/benefits. The proposed start date is January 1, 2022 with service dates of January 1, 2022 - May 15, 2022. Renewal of the position is possible and contingent on availability of funding, strong enrollments, and strong performance reviews. Renewed appointments will be on a 9 month service basis (Aug 16- May 15). Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
