Job Summary:

Position Description
The Kenneth W. Monfort College of Business is seeking a highly qualified professor to continue its quest for excellence in undergraduate business education. Candidates must have completed all requirements for a Ph.D. or Doctorate degree in Marketing from an AACSB accredited institution (or equivalent) by August 2022. Candidates must be committed to scholarly research, effective teaching, and university service. Candidates must be academically qualified and instructionally current to be considered for this position.

The University of Northern Colorado will hire a qualified candidate with a broad array of interests in Digital Marketing and related areas (e.g., digital advertising, mobile marketing, social media marketing, content marketing, e-commerce/omni-channel marketing, SEO, analytics). Other areas of interest are flexible, but might include Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) or other areas that add value to our students.

In addition to teaching, faculty responsibilities include student advising, department, college and university service, and scholarly activity. A strong publishing and presentation record is considered a plus. This position is dependent on funding.

Location and Community
The University of Northern Colorado is located in Greeley, Colorado. The city has a population of 110,000 and is perfectly situated on the high plains with panoramic views of the Rocky Mountains. One hour north of Denver and a little over an hour east of Rocky Mountain National Park, Greeley has a distinct small-town feel and a downtown that is designated as a Colorado Creative District. This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature and approval by the Board of Trustees, and is subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado. Ideally, candidates should have some evidence of special interests and prior preparation in Digital Marketing. This may include formal education/courses, industry certifications, teaching experiences, research experiences, or professional work experiences.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Compensation for this position includes an approximate salary of $102,816 - $112,042. Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.
