Job Description
The Graduate Programs Assistant assists in the provision of services to more than 300 masters and DNP students and 20 PhD students in CSON. They also assist with applicants to the Master's DNP, CRNA and PhD programs. This position interfaces directly with more than 40 faculty who teach in the graduate program.

Administrative Assistant to Associate Dean, Graduate Programs
  • Provide administrative support
  • Schedule, coordinate, attend meetings and maintain minutes 
General Administration for Graduate Programs Office 
  • Provide administrative support for graduate admissions and administration
  • Send out admission letters and welcome letters under supervision of Assistant Dean, Graduate Enrollment
  • Manage grad program paperwork and forms
  • Update graduate student handbook and forms
  • Process credentialing and verification requests from alumni and outside organizations under supervision of Assistant Dean, Graduate Enrollment and obtain appropriate signatures
Graduate Programs Admissions 
  • Assist with processing of > 500 graduate applications per year
  • Help coordinate CRNA, MS, DNP and PhD applications 
  • Interface with application center
  • Create new student files and removing outdated files
    • Graduate Program Events and Orientation
      Email students/faculty with information regarding Graduate events including but not limited to Open Houses, Welcome Days, Orientations and Ph.D. Reception
      Schedule, book rooms
      Coordinate and attend actual event as needed
      Oversee GNA, GNA dinner and assist with planning Commencement

      Graduate Office Communication
      Monitor and manage GSONGRAD email inbox
      Check and manage voicemail for GSONGRAD

      Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $38,700 to $48,400; salary commensurate with relevant experience.
Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience with GoogleSuite, Word, Excel required. 

Willingness to learn BC EagleApps and BC tech systems required.

Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills necessary.

Some flexible hours may be required for events.
