Posting Summary

Working collaboratively with students and campus partners, create and implement innovative programing, events, and multimedia resources to foster a more just and sustainable campus community where individuals can bring their full selves to their life, work, and study at UVM to include religious and philosophical identities and perspectives. Provide student leadership development, event planning, community building, and related logistics. Lead efforts to equip students across the institution to increase their knowledge, skills, and attitudes for interfaith dialogue and exploration, ethical reflection, religious literacy, resilience, and positive community engagement. Recruit, train, and supervise student staff and volunteers and participate in any relevant campus and community efforts to represent the Interfaith Center and UVM.  Report to the Director of Interfaith Education & Engagement. 

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor's degree and one to three years of related experience required. Demonstrated knowledge and experience fostering religious and/or philosophical community and conversations around identity required. Experience with program development, community building, and social media communication and digital organizing across social media platforms required. Effective administrative, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends required.

Desirable Qualifications

Understanding of the nature and culture of promoting religious and philosophical diversity, equity, and inclusion in a university context desirable. Familiarity with the basic principles of program assessment and evaluation desirable.

FLSA: Exempt

Hiring Min (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE)): 33200.00

Payband Max (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE)): 63100.00
