The Department of Communication Arts at Illinois College invites applications for a tenure-track position in intercultural communication with particular focus on intercultural communication within organizations. Strong preference for expertise and/or interest in studying issues of race, ethnicity, and culture within organizations in the U.S. context. Preference for ability/interest in strategic communication, social media, and/or health communication. Teaching will include introductory public speaking as part of college requirements. Commitment to diverse and inclusive perspectives in teaching, scholarship, and service is essential, as is enthusiasm for working closely with students in a liberal-arts setting.

Degree in Communication or appropriate related field. ABD or doctorate required for tenure-track appointment.
