Electrical Engineering Professor
Located 30 minutes north of Wichita, Kansas, Hesston College is a private, Christian liberal arts college that operates on a mixed model. Historically a two-year college, most of Hesston’s programs of study are two-year transfer and associate degree programs. Hesston also offers four-year bachelor’s degree programs in nursing, aviation and business, and keeps an eye on industry trends and student needs to develop programs and offerings to best meet those needs. Hesston College seeks a full-time Electrical Engineering Professor to teach courses in Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics, including Circuits, Digital Systems Design, Electronics, Control Systems, Electrical Power and Machinery and other Engineering courses. Other responsibilities include contributing to the Hesston College Robotics club and helping set up a fully equipped Electronics laboratory. Candidates should have a master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (Ph.D. preferred) and a commitment to Christian higher education and the mission and values of Hesston College. Additional desired qualifications include teaching experience and a commitment to student-centered instruction. This 9-month position begins August 2022.
