Job Description

Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the Honors College Program Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for questions about the Honors Laureate Diploma program and performs a wide variety of program support duties. Duties include management of student records; review, approval, and tracking of honors credit; management of the Honors diploma registration and graduation processes; management of the Faculty-Student Agreement process; oversight of communication initiatives with campus advising groups; event planning; and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrated ability to arrange and complete multiple tasks, solve problems independently, and exercise judgement in dealing with confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

  • A degree in education, administration, or related field or equivalent level of experience
  • Proficiency with Google Apps
  • Higher education experience with in an honors college or program
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Experience using Canvas educational software
  • Database management experience using Banner
  • Event planning experience
