Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Department Information
The Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology is the second largest engineering college in Georgia with over 5,000 students. Students receive hands-on learning experiences from industry-expert faculty in the University's state-of-the-art facilities to produce Georgia's next generation of integrated engineers, with technical knowledge, intellectual depth, and experience in professional skills. Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a one semester, non-tenure track Limited-term Instructor or Assistant Professor faculty position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, beginning January 2022.

Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities for the position are teaching four to five courses and/or labs (12 - 15 credit hours) per semester.

Courses are taught on the Marietta campus of Kennesaw State University and are offered during daytime and evening hours. Faculty are expected to teach in a variety of instructional modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, flipped classroom and online.

Required Qualifications
An earned Master's or Terminal/Doctorate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or closely related field, or the foreign equivalent is required by the time of appointment.

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred qualifications typically include:
  • Industry experience and/or Professional Engineering licensure
  • Experience teaching in various instructional modalities
