Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a one semester, non-tenure track Limited-term Instructor or Assistant Professor faculty position in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, beginning January 2022.
The primary responsibilities for the position are teaching four to five courses and/or labs (12 - 15 credit hours) per semester.
Courses are taught on the Marietta campus of Kennesaw State University and are offered during daytime and evening hours. Faculty are expected to teach in a variety of instructional modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, flipped classroom and online.
An earned Master's or Terminal/Doctorate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or closely related field, or the foreign equivalent is required by the time of appointment.
Preferred qualifications typically include:
- Industry experience and/or Professional Engineering licensure
- Experience teaching in various instructional modalities
- Cover Letter
- Unofficial Transcripts (Official Transcripts Due Upon Hire)
- Statement of teaching philosophy
- Names, phone numbers, and email addresses of at least 4 references to be contacted as needed
