Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary
Assists with event planning and execution needs, ticket sales, reconciliations and attendance reports, office coordination and staffing, and building season events. Provides administrative support for the department.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and oversees box office functions including ticket sales staff and house management staff at assigned department events
  • Serves as manager on duty at assigned events
  • Assists in the supervision of assigned staff, student assistants and volunteers
  • Manages calendar of events and works closely with department units to ensure event calendar continuity

  • Manages revenue and event attendance data, produces revenue reports and assists in their distribution
  • Assists with department hiring and training of staff and student assistants and provides input on staff performance evaluations, as needed
  • Provides administrative support for the department as assigned
  • Builds live and virtual performances in ticketing system as well as creating confirmation and preshow emails via HTML
  • Assists with creating manuals, handbooks, and troubleshooting guides for student assistants and volunteers
  • Assists in tracking and maintaining ticket sales data
  • Acts as liaison between Upper Management and student assistants as needed
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent

Required Experience
One (1) year of related event and ticketing management experience

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
ABILITIES
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines

KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of Box Office ticketing processes

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite) Strong attention to detail and follow up skills Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
