Position Summary

Supports billing operations within the department. Processes new billing service requests. Collaborates with key stakeholders to ensure billing accuracy. Keeps track of accounts receivable and transactions, assists with customer account reconciliations and prepares analytical reports.

Job Responsibilities
  • Reviews rate sheet(s) and analyzes how charges are billed monthly, recurring, and one-time charges.
  • Ensures billing deadlines are met and billing goes uninterrupted, including manual billing.
  • Ensures smooth billing cycles and actively follows-up on billing improvements, as needed. Monitors workflows and processes.
  • Participates in regular meetings involving new service billing requirements/improvements. Gathers requirements and serves as departmental resource for questions on setting up billing for new services.
  • Follows up with stakeholders to ensure asset data is set up accurately and billing is submitted timely.
  • Analyzes monthly billing reports to identify, understand and explain variances. Works with customers to resolve any billing discrepancies as needed.
  • Provides appropriate knowledge base literature and answers inquiries regarding billing policies, procedures, and charge status.
  • Provides support to leadership on cost recovery projections, or other projects.
  • Provides support to any assigned billing tickets.
  • Provides back up to the Revenue Administrator as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's Degree

Approximately 2-3 years of related experience.

Prior relevant experience with ServiceNow and SAP a plus.

  • Detail-oriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy.
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  • Proactive self-starter with the ability to multitask on a regular basis in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and database applications, especially MS Excel.
