College Support Specialist
This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado. Federal regulations require that the University retain all documents submitted by applicants. Materials will not be returned or copied for applicants.
The person in this position will provide critical budgeting support for academic units in NHS including tracking of state accounts, faculty travel funds, foundation activities, indirect account, course fees, and internal awards. The position also works directly with the Dean and provides essential clerical and administrative support for the Dean and manages the NHS Dean's Office which includes supervising student assistants. The position serves as the primary contact between the NHS Dean's Office and schools/departments and offices both on and off the campus. Position must exercise excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and problem-solving skills in acting as a representative for the Dean at various times transmitting and interpreting decisions and views.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Two years of experience in Higher Education.

Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $34,797-$42,500. Benefits available include health, dental, vision, life and long-term disability insurance, as well as a selection of several defined contribution retirement plans. Dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%. These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.
