JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The College of Engineering Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering invites applications for part time Research. Students with multidisciplinary interests and experience in civil engineering, materials science, and informatics. The successful candidate will work with Dr. Aleksandra Radli?ska as well as a doctoral student on the following topics:
(1) Bibliographic/scientometric analysis of machine learning applications for concrete science; and
(2) Text mining of concrete science based on natural language processing to facilitates materials discovery.
We encourage applications from students with strong interest in machine learning and materials informatics. Background in concrete materials and programming skills using Python are preferred. Familiarity with machine learning and natural language processing methods is a plus.
