The Admissions Department at National Louis University seeks additional talent for the Enrollment Support Specialist team. This position is responsible for the procurement and processing of new student transcripts, as well as working closely with the Enrollment team to provide support to students throughout their admission and enrollment processes. As an example, this will include ongoing communication with Enrollment team members to assist students in ensuring a timely status progression and a successful path to the scheduled term start. 

Outcomes and Responsibilities:
  • Request and process transcripts and documents for applicants to National Louis University 
  • Regularly track and reconcile transcript charges for bank statements 
  • Support the Enrollment Teams in providing information to students regarding checklist items, financial aid paperwork and other documents necessary for admission and registration for upcoming terms. 
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:
  • HS Diploma or GED plus some college coursework, required
  • 1-3 years experience working with Customer Relationship Management Software
  • 1-3 years experience working with an internal database (i.e. Banner)
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments and priorities yet still fulfill all commitments. Readily accepts new responsibilities and adapts well to changes in procedures. Gives appropriate priorities to various work demands
  • Prioritizes tasks and manages time to ensure that deadlines are met. Plans his or her time and sticks to those plans. Prevents or manages interruptions until the highest priority tasks are accomplished
  • Achieves results within established timelines. Understands and demonstrates that intentions, activities and results are not the same. Expects that obstacles will occur and refuses to use them as an excuse for not achieving results
  • Tends to stay positive, even when others sound negative or struggle to remain upbeat. Sees and provides others with concrete reasons to believe that things will work out well. Notices and acknowledges things that are going well, especially during stressful times
