Position DescriptionThe Visual Computing Group (https://vcg.seas.harvard.edu/) in the John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) at Harvard University seeks motivated postdoctoral fellows with a Ph.D. in computer science/engineering or a related field to work on applied research projects in data visualization. We are working on a wide range of exciting research areas, including immersive visualization (AR/VR), scientific visualization, and information visualization. In addition to working closely with graduate students and collaborators on research projects, the candidate is expected to actively participate in writing grant proposals
Basic QualificationsPh.D. in computer science/engineering or a related field to work on applied research projects in data visualization.
Additional QualificationsCandidates should have a substantial publication history in top visualization venues and good teamwork and communication skills. Strong software development experience, especially for web-based applications, is preferred.
