eCornell is looking for a creative, highly motivated, solutions-oriented, team player to fill the role of Program Coordinator, Executive Education.

Program Coordinators are our relationship managers who liaise with corporate partners, corporate students and faculty. They report to the Sr. Director of Program Operations and collaborate with program operations, product management and corporate sales to help ensure our corporate students and program participants have a positive experience and are successful in the external education courses and programs.

Program Coordinators provide the day-to-day management of all logistical and operational aspects of in-person professional development programs. In addition, they manage the implementation of blended in-person and online programs, enabling online courses, workshops, video conferences, and webinars. Partnering with Directors of Corporate Programs and corporate clients, they develop targeted professional development programs and make programmatic recommendations based on prior program experience and learning outcomes.

Other Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate client program implementation, delivery, orientation, and ongoing management to ensure timely project launch and customer satisfaction.

  • Meet regularly with clients to understand the needs of current and future programming. Provide ongoing recommendations to Business Development Directors based on client feedback.

  • Partner with Faculty directly on course design and scope of learning activity; partner with Instructional Designers to ensure faculty stipulations for course content.

  • Adjust, align or suggest budget allocations for the executive education programs; manage and monitor budgets as programs progress; Select venues and negotiate vendor contracts, including hotel/lodging, and catering.

  • Collaborate with the Product Management team to design and build out the program hub with optimal branding for each individual executive education program.

  • Design and manage enrollment portals, ensuring that students are enrolled in each component of each program.

  • Administer Faculty and Field Experts compensation contracts.

  • Use our software for design work, enrollment, and trainings - Salesforce (CRM), Canvas (LMS), Destiny (SIS), Slack, WordPress, and Microsoft Office Suite.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in hospitality and/or higher ed, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational skills and detail oriented.

  • Demonstrated experience in client relationship management for high-level executives.

  • Demonstrated program and event coordination experience for minimally 25 participants, but ideally at a larger scale.

  • Strong time management skills, tolerance for ambiguity and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Successful experience as both an independent and team player is critical.

  • Service oriented with a positive customer service attitude. Passionate about client satisfaction and goal oriented.

  • Working knowledge of the following computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet research, Google Docs, and LMS proficiency.

  • Ability to provide up to 25% of program weekend support as needed. Ability to occasionally travel (including international) is required.

  • Prior experience using Salesforce (CRM), Canvas (LMS), and/or Destiny (SIS).

This position is located in Ithaca, New York. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and the University's decision to limit the number of on-campus employees, the successful applicant will be asked to perform this role remotely at a location of their choice in the United States for a limited time, only until the University can permit more employees to work on campus. Once the University permits more employees to work on campus, the successful applicant will be expected to work on the Ithaca campus, although they may be permitted to perform a portion of their work remotely.

The New York Convenience of employer guidelines require New York State individual tax reporting and withholdings for this position. Additional individual state income tax filings may also be required if working temporarily outside New York State.
