JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Hospitality Services: The Front Desk at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center is now seeking applicants for its part time Front Desk Agent position.
- Checking guests in and out of hotel rooms
- Answering telephones
- Relaying messages
- Facilitating guest needs by acting as the information center for the Penn Stater
This position requires efficiency, attentiveness, consistency, dependability, being proactive and motivated with a cheerful and friendly attitude. Candidates must possess good communication skills, be outgoing, and give top priority to customer satisfaction. The position requires standing for an extended period of time. Front Desk Agents operate computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, and credit card equipment on a daily basis. Work hours vary, including some weekends and holidays. Summer availability is preferred for this position.
