The School of Government and International Affairs is committed to excellence in teaching, learning, research, and service. Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time Political Science faculty positions in the School of Government and International Affairs. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with experience. Part-time faculty are hired from the department's pool of applicants on a semester-by-semester basis. Assignments to faculty in the pool are based on departmental needs and are for one or two courses per semester. Applicants may be asked to teach in various modalities (face-to-face, hybrid, and online) and courses maybe be assigned at the Kennesaw or Marietta campus. Qualified out-of-state candidates are encouraged to apply.
Applicants should be able to teach undergraduate level courses in Political Science. Candidates must be capable of teaching courses in American Government, POLS 1101.
An earned Master's, Terminal, or Doctorate in Political Science, or the foreign equivalent is required.
An earned doctoral degree in Political Science or a closely related field is preferred.
