Scope

Ohio Northern University's next president will be a bold collaborator and dynamic leader with a distinguished record of successful leadership in a complex organization. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the role of higher education in an increasingly competitive landscape while valuing the heritage and values of ONU.

Principal Responsibilities

The president will be responsible for engaging and uniting the campus community in developing an innovative vision and strategy for the institution; building a sustainable financial model that maintains and enhances ONU's high-quality academic programs; growing the institutions' annual fund and endowment; embracing and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion; creating the conditions for a strong campus community; supporting and advocating for the use of novel and innovative teaching, technologies, and learning modalities; and cultivating meaningful partnerships to advance the mission and academic goals of ONU.
