POSITION SUMMARY: Moravian University invites applications for adjunct instructors to teach courses in specialized areas of application in economics in the Economics and Business Department. Positions are available for the academic year beginning Spring 2022 in the Master of Business Administration program teaching courses in Macroeconomics and Financial Markets. Areas of knowledge include: financial markets and institutions, interest rates, the role of the Fed and the banking industry, monetary policy and macroeconomic theory and policy. Courses may be taught online or in-person.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Qualified candidates must have a genuine desire to fully participate in a liberal arts environment and demonstrate:

All positions are subject to budget availability.

QUALIFICATIONS: Successful applicants will at least hold a master's degree in economics, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university at the time of appointment; a PhD is preferred. Professional work experience in applying economics is required.

The Master's of Business Administration (MBA) program develops leaders with the skills and adaptability to manage complex, diverse, and fast-changing situations in today's business world. Moravian offers seven concentrations for students to choose from, which include accounting, supply chain, healthcare management, general management, human resource management, business analytics and finance.
