The Department of World Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at The College of Idaho invites applications for a fall 2021 Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of Spanish starting August 2021. Ideal candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Spanish, Applied Linguistics, or a related field, and have native or near-native proficiency in Spanish and English.

The successful candidate will offer Spanish language and one special topics course in his/her area of expertise. WLC expects knowledge of ACTFL proficiency standards and use of the communicative method. While the ideal hire will teach full time (3 courses), the Department would consider highly qualified candidates for part-time teaching.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States as of the expected hire date and throughout the date of the contract without sponsorship from The College of Idaho.
