JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Postdoctoral Teaching Fellowship in German

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures at The Pennsylvania State University invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral teaching fellowship in German to begin Fall 2021. All courses will be taught in person at the University Park campus.

Responsibilities include: teaching introductory, intermediate, and/or advanced undergraduate courses in German and related support duties.

Education and Experience:

Successful applicants will have a Ph.D. in German or a related field by the time of appointment. In addition, successful candidates must either have demonstrated a commitment to building an inclusive, equitable, and diverse campus community, or describe one or more ways they would envision doing so, given the opportunity.
