Resident Success Specialist

Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the position of Resident Success Specialist (Student Services Program Coordinator I) in University Housing. Reporting to the Assistant Director for Housing Services, this position will serve within University Housing's Resident Success unit. The Resident Success Specialist will serve as a full-time staff member responsible for administrative and logistical components of student employment or student conduct.

Duties will include, but not be limited to: manage communications, records and administrative processes for University Housing; completes student employment paperwork and/or conduct scheduling; assist with functions, projects and initiatives including but not limited to: desk operations, camp and conference operations, recruitment and selection, engagement and programming, academic initiatives, training, move-in and closing; collaborates effectively with campus partners on student conduct or Human Resources processes: provide exceptional customer service to all constituents; and other duties as assigned.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required. Must have a valid state driver's license. Knowledge of housing and conduct database software is preferred. A successful candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills and have strong administrative skills.

Knowledge of principles and procedures of office administration; strong skills organizing, prioritizing, and managing tasks; ability to comprehend and implement complex oral and written instruction(s); and strong computer skills. Able to handle highly confidential information and perform multiple tasks with regular interruptions. Competence in primary computer applications, social media, database management, and attention to detail in administrative responsibilities.
