Position HighlightsThe successful candidate selected for this Postdoctoral Research Associate position will carry out research proposed in the R01 funding and other independent research projects related to the R01 funding.
The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for science with an ambition to someday become an independent principal investigator running an extramurally funded research program. Also, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop sills in computational biology.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out independent work.
- Prepare and submit manuscripts.
- Mentor graduate and undergraduate students.
- PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Cancer biology, Molecular biology or related field.
- Candidate should have demonstrated ability to prepare, submit and publish scientific articles in academic journals.
- *Cellular and molecular biology techniques.
- *Well organized and hard working.
- *Prior working experience in iron homeostasis and kidney cancer research a plus.
