Cornell University invites applications for the Head Coach for Women's Tennis position within the Department of Athletics and Physical Education. The Women's Tennis Head Coach is responsible for organizing and directing all activities related to the operation of the intercollegiate Women's tennis program. This includes coaching, recruiting, scheduling, budget management, and overall administration of a Division I tennis program in accordance with NCAA, Ivy League, and University rules and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Division I playing or coaching experience and at least 5 years' relevant experience preferred
  • Knowledge of NCAA recruiting and compliance rules and procedures, excellent communication skills, strong organizational and leadership skills, and an ability to identify, yield and develop quality student-athletes
  • Proficiency with computers and office software; familiarity with ARMS software, video editing software, and other athletic-specific technology skills preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated success in cultivating relationships with alumni and other program supporters is strongly desirable
  • This position will require driving; therefore, a clean and valid driver's license must be held at time of employment and maintained thereafter
