JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
The Department of Materials Science and Engineering in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at The Pennsylvania State University is accepting applications for an hourly-based research position over the summer 2021. The student researcher will be asked to conduct laboratory research work, including sample preparation, and materials characterization.
The successful applicants will assist in our research to fabrication TEM samples and investigate the crystal structures in high entropy crystals using transmission electron microscopy techniques. Data management and computer-based data analysis skills (e.g., Matlab, Python) are required. The ability to work independently is required.
