Job Description

Reports to the Associate Dean of Students, supporting the administrative, student advocacy, and case management responsibilities in the Dean of Students Office. Provide overall case management support for the Dean of Students Office to include: case staffing; scheduling referrals and walk-in assistance; case follow up (Care Team and Bias Incident Response Team); data management; advocacy and triage support for students and families; and preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual digest of student concerns and support.

Required Qualifications

Master's Degree and/or equivalent training and experience in office case management, higher education administration, business, public administration, or related area. Demonstrated significant executive level administrative experience in a professional office setting with excellent organizational and communication skills. Previous experience handling special projects, events and programs with the ability to organize and prioritize a variety of competing demands. Ability to work independently without supervision. Demonstrated experience handling matters of extreme confidential and/or crisis oriented nature and maintaining sensitive files, information, and documents. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office suite or similar programs, particularly calendar software with experience maintaining multiple electronic calendars for executive level management. Demonstrated strong customer service experience with the ability to establish and maintain successful and effective relationships with diverse, multicultural student and staff population.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience using a case management system (Maxient). Previous experience with data entry and compiling reports with accuracy. Previous experience providing administrative support for student advocacy and/or case management. Previous experience supporting faculty in a complex academic environment and serving as department liaison to college academic deans related to student absences.
