Manager, Mail & Logistics
This key position reports to the Director of Business Services and provides managerial leadership for the Material Management areas and the Logistical Delivery Network for the college system.
Manages and directs the Delivery System Network, the Mail Center and the Shipping & Receiving areas operations to support the academic and administrative processes of the college to ensure the highest possible quality by performing the following duties, personally or through subordinates.
This position provides complex problem solving mail and logistic solutions daily for all levels of the organization at the Dayton Campus as well as all remote locations. This includes expanding services as needed, while ensuring the entire system receives and is following the most current postal regulations, that internal mail is processed optimally, that the shipping/receiving operation processes incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and prudently for all departments, customers and locations.
The Manager of Mail & Logistics, guiding trained personnel, assures that the college receivesServices’ such as processing incoming shipments, filing damage claims, ensuring deliveries are made to the correct departments and location, and paperwork is processed so that the college’s bills can be paid. This position also oversees the usage of the college vehicles, disposition of surplus property, capital asset inventory, satellite copier supplies and the intelligent lockers.
