This position is responsible to insure operational needs of customer service, production, and sanitation are met in all areas of Campus Dining. The individual in this position works under the supervision of Food Service Management.

Duties and Responsibilities (generally)

Food Service Management is present in-house to serve as resource personnel and to monitor the quantity and quality of items being prepared for service and to insure sanitation standards are being met. This job has no supervisory responsibilities. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Required Qualifications for this position

Food Handlers Certificate or Food Service Manager Certification required within 30 days of hire

  1. Cleanliness - Knowledge of sanitary procedures and directives; how to use simple cleaning solutions and equipment.

  4. Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
  5. Attention to Detail - Job requires being careful about detail and thorough in completing work tasks.

Working Hours: Wednesday-Sunday; 1:00pm-9:00pm; off Monday and Tuesday

Minimum Pay Rate (Hourly or Monthly)

$12.00 per hour (based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement)

Hiring Rate Information

Actual hiring rate is commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity; position includes a robust benefits package to eligible applicants.
